The distinctive design of the Cove seat stems from research carried out on the use of furniture by lounge guests. Its circular shape was designed with care and precision to offer a spacious and comfortable seat, a USB port, an optional mains power supply and a table which can be used as a desk. Both the inside and exterior surfaces of the Cove airport seat can be customised with Pelle Frau leather, saddle leather or fabric to fit with the surrounding decor.
The result of the close ongoing collaboration with renowned London-based studio Foster+Partners, Bay System offers a flexible and durable seating solution that can be easily configured to suit the diverse needs of travelers at airports, train stations and other transportation facilities. The two different set-ups – BAY Gate and BAY Lounge – are designed to offer different levels of ergonomic support and privacy during waiting times, always in the name of comfort, technological innovation and craftsmanship.
