The fluid gesture of Cila – like a protective cloth wrapped around the body – has been reimagined. A new shell option with armrests offers comfort and support to Cilas distinctive curve while retaining its smooth and graphic silhouette.
The armchair offering gives extra comfort and function to Cilas dynamic form. The new shell in polypropylene can be combined with all the existing bases of the Cila collection (steel 4-leg base, steel sled base, wooden 4-leg base, aluminum trestle base with or without castors) for diverse configurations. The chair is available in the same 5 color finishes – as Cila without armrests – and with optional upholstery, making it an easy complement to other products in the collection. An optional seat cushion in a range of colors lends greater plushness to the supportive form.
A simple gesture, a sensuous feel. The fluid form of Cila was inspired by the image of layers of cloth enveloping the body. Its silhouette of smooth lines retains a graphic character from its distinctive curvethe most essential symbol of shelter. Like being protected, like being held. Cilas easy shape blends into both residential and contract environments and is especially well suited for dining and entertaining contexts. Comfortable yet lightweight, Cilas plastic shell can be customized in six colors with optional seat cushions or fully upholstered in a range of textures, colors, and styles.
