Cercle is a leather executive chair with 5-spoke base with castors by Poltrona Frau, design by Alberto Lievore, Jeannette Altherr, Dennis Park.
In a changing world, the word sharing is a new point of departure for an original approach to the work environment. The series of Cercle office chairs exemplifies this concept starting with its name.
In fact, in Catalan a Cercle is a circle of people that dialogue with each other.
The project by Lievore, Altherr and Park is perfectly consistent with Poltrona Fraus new vision of the executive office: forms and ideas that seek to promote relationships and showcase designs that foster working methods more suited to the contemporary manager who works in open spaces, sharing ideas and combining his creative skills with those of his team.
The ergonomics of the Cercle office chair have been studied in particular depth. The synchronised mechanism is integrated in the single shell and further optimised by Poltrona Frau to offer high-quality comfort. The structure is made from polyurethane with metallic insert. The padding is in differentiated-density polyurethane foam for more comfortable areas and polyester wadding quilt. The polished aluminium or black lacquered base has five spokes with the column connected to the cover equipped with a gas spring and painted to match the finish of the base. The automatic-braking W castors can be soft or hard. The Cuoio Saddle Executive and Pelle Frau leather covers, completely free of stitching, exalt the formal beauty of the seat. Cercle can also be completely upholstered in Pelle Frau leather or come in a combination of leather or saddle-leather for the structure and leather or fabric for the inside surface.
