CATIFA CARTA 53 is a configurable chair with optional exposed metal armrests and a variety of base options.
These include: four-legged wooden base, four-legged metal base, sled base, trestle base (with or without wheels), and five-star base.
The sled version is also available in rust-finished metal, while the wooden base comes in natural oak and the new black-stained oak.
The removable covers are offered in three upholstery variations: seamless, tone-on-tone striped stitching, and star stitching in white or black.
Catifa Carta, presented at the 2024 Salone del Mobile in Milan as a reinterpretation of Catifa 53, is now also available with a four-legged wooden basea solution aimed at further enhancing the environmental performance of Catifa Carta.
This choice results in a further reduction of CO2 emissions, by over 20% compared to the version of the chair with a four-legged metal base.
The innovation goes beyond the material used for the base: the fixing method between the frame and the shell has also been revised. Glues have been completely eliminated in favor of screw inserts, which allow for easy separation of components at the end of the product’s life, thus ensuring responsible disposal.
Comfort, versatility, and color contribution are also interpreted with close attention to sustainability.
A new seat cushion enters the range, made from BREATHAIR. This material, a polyester elastomer, is already known for its characteristics: elastic, breathable, particularly durable, and fully recyclable. But for the first time, it has been shaped to perfectly fit the lines of the seat, allowing for a combination of seating comfort and visible PaperShell on the backrest.
The front upholstery has also been redesigned: new covers are introduced, fully removable from the shell and separable from the padding thanks to the absence of glues. This solution allows for the upholstery to be easily replaced without having to replace the entire chair, while also adding customizable color accents to suit the project.
The covers, in addition to being softer and more comfortable, become a distinctive element that enriches the aesthetics of the chair.

Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever. Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
Anyway, you still use Lorem Ipsum and rightly so, as it will always have a place in the web workers toolbox, as things happen, not always the way you like it, not always in the preferred order.
