ASTERIA SINGOLO is a pendant lamp in aluminum, composed of a single level, available in three sizes.
The central element of the project, and also the most surprising, is the arm: an extruded aluminum piece with a V-shaped cross-section, characterized by a short vertical side and a long, horizontal, and curved side, on which a recessed LED strip is mounted, serving as the light source. The light it emits, thanks to the transparent shielding that covers it up to the sides, is perceptible not only from above but also laterally, in a subtle way, like a line floating in space.
Each arm serves both a structural and light diffusion function and is connected to a central vertical cylinder. Six arms form one level of the chandelier: up to three levels can be stacked in a staggered arrangement, creating a radial and dynamic light distribution.
When turned on, it emits light in multiple directions: through the arms, the light is pushed upward radially (with the sophisticated detail of the narrow illuminated strip visible at the sides of each arm), while a light source located at the bottom of the central cylinder directs the light downward, providing more functional illumination, for example, above a table.
Asteria is a collection of pendant lamps that represents a perfect balance between rigor and dynamism.
A project born from the idea of innovation built on the dialogue between materials and technologies, the two designers propose an essential and innovative vision, in a balance that recalls the allure of the traditional chandelier, yet completely diverges from it in essence.
It originates from technology but conceals it, integrating it into the structure itself. It favors a minimal formal language, made warm and elegant by the sophisticated quality of the emitted light, the curves, and the dynamic arrangement of the arms, which give the project a harmonious look, free from any aesthetic rigidity.
The Asteria model is conceived as a modular project. In addition to the Multi version, composed of three different levels, it is also offered in a single-level version in three different sizes: the more compact 65-centimeter diameter version, the medium 105 cm version, and the larger 145 cm version.
Modularity allows for different aesthetic and functional configurations, offered as predefined sets to ensure design coherence and compositional harmony. The availability of various sizes makes Asteria an ideal lighting solution for both domestic and contract environments, offering combinations that range from the most essential composition to the more intricate one, in two color options: dark red and titanium.
