TNK 500 is a program of operational chairs awarded the Red Dot Award product design 2012, one of the most prestigious International product awards in the field of design, in which the use of new materials and application of the latest technology gives a sophisticated response to the needs of each user. Much more than a formal design. A sum of functional details, techniques and technology. A timeless and elegant design. With a rich visual quality and hapes suggesting fluency, development and humanity inspiring positive feelings, using added value and sustainable materials and with respect for the environment. TNK 500 incorporates an innovative and exclusive mechanism of progressive resistance, fully integrated and easily accessible from a seated position. Its technological development and engineering has allowed Actiu to obtain an exclusive patent for this mechanism. It has used die-cast aluminum for the structure, to obtain a light and elegant product, whilst retaining all the mechanical and functional properties of an operative chair. Soft materials at the point of interaction with the user for greater comfort.
TNK is a collection of operative office chairs with latest generation mechanism detects the pressure over the chair back and adjust automatically the pressure of the free floating movement after releasing the mechanism. When you release the mechanism with no pressure on the chair back, then the chairs returns to the front position very slowly. The strong nylon fabric used in the back is always adjusted to the user’s movement, providing back perspiration and keeping a constant temperature. An innovative and technological challenge, with a membrane back with cell design and ergonomic features. High back model has an integrated headrest, designed for executive and personal offices. It combines new materials and new productive technologies and offers 4 different and innovative backs. A light and technological design for any space.
