CATIFA (RE) 53 is a chair with a fixed trestle base in polished or painted aluminum, mounted on self-braking wheels (in the same color as the frame).
Catifa (RE) 53 is a reinterpretation, in terms of the materials used, of the iconic Catifa 53.
The curved seat and essential profile represent the perfect synthesis: a conceptual purity born from the elimination of the superfluous without sacrificing elegance.
A new shell is introduced, made using 100% recycled plastic, resulting from the combination of post-consumer and post-industrial material.
Color and comfort, hallmarks of the collection, are at the core of this evolution. Thanks to the absence of glues, the upholstery can be easily removed and replaced, improving both sustainability and practicality, and ensuring greater longevity and circularity in design.
This transformation also introduces a softer, more relaxed and contemporary aesthetic, offering superior comfort without losing its timeless elegance.
The seat is available with a fully upholstered shell in three variants: seamless, with tone-on-tone stripe stitching, or with star stitching (in white or black).
The shells, on the other hand, can be configured as follows: a four-legged wooden base, a trestle base (with or without wheels), or a five-star base on wheels. This ensures the collections adaptability to a wide variety of environments and needs.
