The AS100 swivel chair is smart, comfortable, and at a quality level that makes it stand out. It is part of a product family of nesting chairs and tables, called AS series and designed by the successful German designer Andreas Striko. The AS100 meets the growing need for flexible spaces and agile processes, providing mobility and freedom to arrange work, study, and meeting setups at your will. Due to its patented nesting ability and mobile castor base, the AS100 can be moved across the aisle, stacked into the storage room or into the lift by just one person.
The AS100 is available as upholstered and as a veneer chair. All versions are FSC certified. The upholstered shell consists of a pressed veneer core. Veneer thickness is 11 mm. In the upper back of the upholstered shell there is a groove in the cushioning serving as a grip for manoeuvring and lifting the chair for nesting. The veneer shell surface is coated with water based matt lacquered knife-cut veneer on both sides. The inner layers are in 1,1 mm rotary cut beech – 9 layers. Standard veneer finishes: Oak, black stained oak, and walnut.
AS100 is available with and without armrests. The armrest comes in polished aluminium and in powder coated aluminium.
High pressure die-cast aluminium 700 mm 4-star castor base. Finish comes in polished aluminium and in powder coated aluminium. As standard the chosen colour for the base also applies for armrests and seat frames. The design of the base is slightly twisted which gives it character and an elegant appearance. The base mirrors the base on the tables and gives the AS series a harmonious design language.
