Rebus is a modular shelving system made of 3 mm thick folded and painted metal. Modules are assembled using a magnetic attachment system. The metal elements, available in various shapes and sizes, are stackable and multidirectional.
Rebus consists of a series of modules that can be combined in an infinite number of configurations. Small freestanding bookshelves and storage units designed to furnish spaces on their own or in combination with seating and sofas. In this project, metal is the focal point and distinctive element: a 3mm thick sheet that twists through space to create square, rectangular, L, and Z shapes that perfectly fit together. The configurations that Rebus allows to achieve can be countless; the different combinations enable customization of spaces with various storage solutions according to the objects they will accommodate. Particularly innovative is the joining system of the pieces, which does not require screws or other fastening elements: the attractive force of small magnets, only 8 mm thick, is sufficient to keep the structure firm and stable. Crafted with high-quality materials, this system offers exceptional durability, ensuring a long lifespan even with heavy usage. Its modular design allows for complete customization, enabling users to create unique configurations that perfectly fit their spaces and needs.
