PH Chair is a steel chair with armrests and aniline leather seat.

Poul Henningsen designed in the 1930s 5 different, beautiful, functional and alternative chairs with a minimum of materials. His aim was to offer comfort and at the same time achieve aesthetic satisfaction, and in this way, he created 5 statement pieces: the PH Armchair, the PH Pope Chair, the PH Lounge Chair, the PH Chair and the PH Snake Chair.
Made with gently curved tubular steel legs, each of the chairs invites contemplation and lush relaxation in their leather or Hallingdal seats. Quality materials make these chairs an elegant design piece that will last for generations.
Poul Henningsen aimed to design the PH Chair as a next generation product that would improve on classic wooden designs by incorporating steel. In its current style, the dynamism of its forms, and its modern expression, the PH Chair is timeless. This chair exemplifies Poul Henningsen’s spirit of uncomplicated simplicity.
This chair is aesthetically basic but incredibly functional, with simply two bent steel tubes in the backrest that rest on each other. The PH Chair sends out a strong message of elegance and practicality. The PH Chair can be used in a variety of settings, including at home, at work, or in public space.
